The Action Hero Experience
Ever wanted to see how you stack up against your favorite action movie star? Well, here’s your chance! This 1-day 5-stage event will be feature packed with cars and mock buildings and no small amount of obstacles you’ll have to negotiate as you progress. Each stage is designed to mimic scenes from your favorite movies and video games. This is a competition and will be scored off overall time each stage. But if you’re not an elite level shooter don’t sweat it, this is for shooters of all levels to have maximum fun.
The stages will be target rich environments so make sure to bring a lot of ammo. Gear will be decided based on your division you select. Just have somewhere to put your mags and a holster for your pistol. Ear pro and eye pro are required for anyone on the range so if you want to bring friends or family, bring them but give them ear and eye protection.
Required Gear and Rules:
Semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56/.223 or greater – limit to 3200fps. Bring your own ammo. Limited ammo availability on site.
Handgun of your choice with a maximum power cap of 45 ACP.
This event is a target rich environment and on same stages 30 rounds of handgun ammunition will be required to complete it. (Dependent on the actual round count but we should put something in there.)
There are no division restrictions on accessories or optics for either handguns or rifles. With the one requirement that nothing can be changed about your weapons after the match starts.

Divisions (Gear):
We will not have separate divisions for age, gender, or firearm/optic types.
Scout – gun belt only
Rapid Response – gun belt and LBV/LBE of some kind whether it’s A.L.I.C.E/cold war gear or a chest rig
Tank – plate carrier with front and back plates. Weighted plates/ ballistic plates/ steel/ ceramic just must have plates.
Awards:
Prizes will be rewarded to 1st 2nd and 3rd place for each division. Additional prizes will be awarded to 1st 2nd and 3rd for “Best Dressed” and Overall score.

- Sign up the day before (August 15) at the Brownells Retail Store 3PM-6PM
- All shooters must sign a waiver on August 15 at the Retail store or morning of event – no exceptions.
- Squadding starts August 14th and ends morning of the Event.
- Mandatory Safety Briefing at 7:45AM – Bay 2
- .223 and 9MM will be available on site
- All shooters will receive a weekend long coupon code!
