Big Springs Shooting Complex was established in 2005 by Brownells, Inc. for the purpose of providing a premier shooting facility for law enforcement agencies, shooting clubs/camps, youth groups, and private citizens.
Located on a renovated farm, the Big Springs Range is a state-of-the-art facility in many ways, and it all starts with lighting. Big Springs utilized Musco Lighting, the biggest name in sports lighting in the world. The combination trap/skeet area has top-of-the-line lighting, making your shooting experience easier, safer, and better.
Big Springs Shooting Complex boasts a shotgun range, rifle range, and a pistol range. Also located on the property are three trap houses, skeet house, and a crazy quail. An additional bonus is the fact that the shooting range faces north. Therefore, in daylight hours, shooters never have to look into the sun. The range also features state-of-the-art technology, and is on the cutting edge of shooting range accessories.
Any range is only as good as its service, and Big Springs is top-notch. From hosting military and law enforcement, to training and education, Big Springs will take the time to make your experience special.
The shotgun range at Big Springs is just one of the many reasons to come visit. Shotgun instruction is offered by appointment. The shotgun range will be open to the public every Tuesday evening from 5:00p - 8:00p for shotgun shooting, trap, skeet and crazy quail starting the first Tuesday of May through September 20th.
On the 360 acres at Big Springs, there is a 500-yard range and a 100-yard range. The fire lines at the rifle ranges are covered by a roof. The rifle range has several different range props and steel targets. The rifle range will be open to the public every Tuesday evening from 5:00p to finish, starting the first Tuesday of May through September 20th.
